Having read the reviews, I was beginning to think I had the wrong garage - or these reviewers did. I turned up for a test drive appointment, made the day before only to find the place locked up. I phoned the mobile number left on the door and got a 'matey' text saying they would be there soon. Soon turned out to be 25 minutes. I spotted the car I had seen online but it was £500 more here now. I took a picture of the front and sent to my partner to check. The online photo of the car showed no scratches or marks, whereas it clearly had them. Someone eventually turned up who did not inspire confidence. The previous day they told me it had failed its MOT but it would be done again before my test drive. It hadn't been. I asked about the price difference. The guy didnt seem to know and rang someone and came back saying they had lots of cars at the moment and wanted to price it to sell. But why have two very different prices online and on the forecourt? After more time while this guy found dealer plates, i was losing patience and also trust in what I would be buying so I left without doing a test drive. I'd gone there specially so it was a waste of at least three hours on the hottest day of the year.

Not great in the end. Didn't advertise all scratches/faults and we didn't see until it was delivered to us. They messed up log book registration and we are left out of pocket to have their mistake fixed. They argued with us and hung up the phone. Awful "service".

Buy a X1 and fine until it breaks down still warranty . they would pick it up and I paid for it which is fine. I wanted the bill for it so I could get money from insurance it never came so lost £120. another this work has get done on engine here will not show invoice for work. First and last time bought a car there.

How do I start this… Saw a car online my partner and I liked, enquired, test drove and purchased. Adam was friendly and us feel welcome to Welcome Cars. The car we brought, so we traded in my old car for new - straight forward process and no hassle. Went to pick it up and found some bits that had agreed to be fixed was not done, so on pick up day Adam got that sorted straight away and asked if we didn’t mind waiting but the other parts was done. So we drove away happy. After nearly two weeks of having the car, I find out it’s a mot failure, needs a whole new exhaust system as it’s been damaged by “being bumped up and down curbs” to much I was told (you’ll see at Welcome Cars this is the way they get cars on the forecourt). The cost of the whole new exhaust system £££ I was not expecting so early on which will have to be fixed straight away. Quite disappointed in honesty, few other bits like a second tyre needs to be replaced but not urgent along with a AGM battery (which are not cheap but it’s a battery). Take it as you will but for friendliness, yes. Cars on the other hand, may be not.
